I think the theoretic separation of body and spirit, foisted on us by a number of occasions (Newton, Dessartes and earlier, the split of logos and mythos that Charles Olson wrote about with the ancient Greek philosophers) and modern technology and pharmaceuticals (created in support of this notion) eventually manifests as sickness in us. Our body's attempt to communicate thought patterns that are not aiding our effort to be noble humans. That's why I have been attracted to Projective Verse, Olson's seminal take on poetics. (It's broken down here: http://www.poetryfoundation.org/learning/essay/237880?page=6). It's also why I am attracted to spiritual disciplines that put the body back into the equation as vessel for divine experience. Yoga, walks and latihan kejiwaan are three. That you're talking about this is a good thing. That few want to go to this depth is unfortunate. Many blessings to you on your journey.Splabmanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08068813038783953187noreply@blogger.com
